HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.5095 OF 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioners/A2 to A4 seek to quash the proceedings in Crime No.141 of 2013 on the file of Armoor Police Station, Nizamabad District, registered for the offences under Sections 290, 323, 341, 380, 457, 498-A, 506 r/w 149 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 17.07.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Armoor Police Station, Nizamabad District and submitted that after filing of charge sheet, C.C.No.108 of 2017 was registered and the same was ended in acquittal vide judgment dated 18.09.2017 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.141 of 2013 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
