ORDER:

The petitioners are employees of Badvel Municipality. The grievance of the petitioners is that they were served notice, dated 27.01.2016, by the 3rd respondent Municipality to recover the amounts from the petitioners on the allegation that the amounts mentioned against them are misappropriated from out of the property tax and water charges collected as Bill Collectors. The grievance agitated in the writ petition is a service grievance as part of the service rendered by them as Bill Collectors in the 3rd respondent Municipality. The Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal is constituted under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985, to adjudicate the service disputes of employees of Municipalities. Therefore, the petitioner has to avail the remedy as available under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985.

2. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed granting liberty to the petitioner to avail the remedy as available under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
