HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI I.A.NO.2 OF 2019 IN/AND CRIMINAL PETITION NO.7363 OF 2019 COMMON ORDER:

The petitioners, who are A-1 to A-5 in C.C.No.576 of 2019 on the file of the I Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Warangal, filed this Criminal Petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to quash the proceedings in the above C.C. A charge sheet came to be filed against the petitioners for the offences punishable under Section 498-A of the Indian Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. During pendency of the Criminal Petition, I.A.No.2 of 2019 came to be filed by the second respondent to record the compromise and to compound the offences. Along with the petition, a joint memo came to be filed, inter alia stating that at the intervention of elders and well wishers, the parties have settled their disputes in terms of the compromise.

The said joint memo has been supported by the affidavit of the second respondent. Today, petitioner No.1 represented by his Special Power of Attorney Holder-petitioner No.3, petitioner Nos.2 to 5 and the second respondent represented by her Special Power of Attorney Holder, her father, Madasuu Ramulu, S/o.Yellaiah, are present before this Court and they were identified by their respective counsel.

of the Court and the second respondent has no objection for quashing the proceedings against the petitioners. In the light of the compromise arrived at between the parties, the compromise memo filed by both the parties is recorded and I.A.No.2 of 2019 is ordered.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed in terms of compromise, and the proceedings in C.C.No.576 of 2019 on the file of the I Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Warangal, against the present petitioners are hereby quashed subject to depositing costs of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only), out of which a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) shall be deposited to the Telangana High Court Advocates' Association, a sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees five thousand only) to the High Court Legal Services Committee, Hyderabad and a sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees five thousand only) to the Court Masters' & Personal Secretaries' Association, High Court for the State of Telangana, Hyderabad, respectively, within a period of one (1) week from today.

Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
