Heard. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petitions are disposed of at the stage of admission. 2.
Alleging that the respondent authorities are trying to demolish the subject premises and dispossess the petitioners from their houses illegally without following due process of law, these Writ Petitions are filed.

Sri R. Sreenivasa Murthy, Incumbent Executive Engineer, Roads and Buildings Division, Anantapur District, deposed in the counter affidavit filed on behalf of respondents 3 and 4. It is specifically asserted in the counter affidavits that respondents 3 and 4 never tried to demolish the houses of the petitioners and if they require private property for widening of the road, they would follow due process of law.

Having regard to the categorical assertion, there is no cause for the petitioners to apprehend demolition and the Writ Petitions are liable to be dismissed.

The Writ Petitions are accordingly dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in these Writ Petitions shall stand closed.
