HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 9572 of 2017 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioners/A3 & A4 seek to quash the proceedings in Crime No.153 of 2017 of Women Police Station, Begumpet, Hyderabad District, which was registered for the offences under Section 498-A & 506 IPC and Sections 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 23.4.2018 of Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police, WPS Begumpet, Hyderabad City and submitted that in this case investigation was completed and charge sheet was filed before XV ACMM, Nampally and CC number is awaited and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.153 of 2017 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 4.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
