THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN Writ Petition No.8859 of 2010 ORDER:

The impugned notice dated 12.03.2010 was issued to the petitioner as a Single Trustee of the subject institution. Sri M.Vidya Sagar, learned counsel for the petitioner, would state that, though no interim order was passed in the writ petition, the respondents did not take any further action pursuant to the earlier notice dated 12.03.2010.

As the petitioner is said to have died last month, and as any action which the respondents can take is only against the person who would now take charge as the Trustee of the subject institution, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous, leaving it open to the respondents, if they so choose, to take action afresh in accordance with law.
