The petitioner prays for the following relief: "... Writ, Order or Direction more particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents 2 and 3 herein in conducting investigation in Crime No. 216 of 2011 dated 27.11.2011 registered under Sec.174 of Cr.P.C. on the file of the 3rd respondent is not in accordance with law and consequently direct respondents 1 to 3 herein to entrust the task of the investigation to any other agency.." The learned Assistant Government Pleader (Home) on instructions submits that Crime No.216 of 2011 has been committed to Sessions Court and the details are as follows: "Charge sheet is filed on 04.10.2012 and subject matter of Crime No.216 of 2011 is pending before the VII Additional District Judge, Ongole in S.C.No.133 of 2015." In view of the developments in the matter, the learned counsel for petitioner does not press the writ prayer. The writ petition is closed accordingly. No order as to costs.
