The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is with regard to the evaluation of her answer scripts in Anatomy subject of MBBS First Year Instant Examinations, held in October, 2019. 2.

It is the case of the petitioner that she has done well in the MBBS First Year Instant Examination October 2019. However, the marks awarded in the Anatomy subject by the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (University) are not as per her expectation and thus, she seeks re-evaluation.

By order dated 12.11.2019, this Court directed the University to make available the answer scripts of Anatomy papers 1 and 2 to enable the petitioner to go through the same.

Heard Sri L.Ravichander, learned counsel representing Sri N.Naveen Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Sri A.Prabhakar Rao, learned standing counsel for the University. 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the answer scripts of Anatomy papers 1 and 2 of the petitioner were made available, the marks awarded are not in commensurate with the answers given.

It is to be noted that the Court should be cautious in entering into the arena of evaluation of the answer scripts or the marks awarded, and it is better left to the experts in the said field. 7.

At this juncture, learned standing counsel for the University submits that in terms of the Regulations, Grievance Committee is constituted and if any student is aggrieved by the marks awarded, such student can

approach the grievance committee by making a representation through Registrar of the University, who, in turn, will place the same before the Grievance Committee and the said Committee will look into the same. 8.

Having regard to the said submission made by the learned standing counsel for the University, this Court is of the view that ends of justice would be met, if the petitioner is permitted to make a representation before the Registrar of the University by 23.11.2019 with regard to marks awarded to her in Anatomy Paper-I & II in the examinations held in October, 2019, whereupon the Registrar shall refer the same to the Grievance Committee, which shall take a decision in the matter. 9.

Upon receipt of the representation from the petitioner, the Registrar shall endeavour to refer and place the said representation before the Grievance Committee at the earliest, but not later than three days from the date of its receipt. On such reference, the Grievance Committee shall take a decision in the matter. Having regard to the fact that since the Second Year Classes of MBBS course have commenced, the Grievance Committee is directed to take a decision thereon within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 10.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
