HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 13870 of 2017 ORDER:

The Writ Petition is filed questioning the order dated 06.04.2017, canceling the TCS licence granted to the petitioner.

It is not in dispute that licence was granted to the petitioner as far back as on 04.10.2007, and the same is valid upto 30.09.2017.

Considering that there were no complaints, whatsoever, against the petitioner till the date of passing of impugned order, and considering the fact that the petitioner had filed an appeal on 20.04.2017, along with stay application, before the Deputy Commissioner of Excise, there shall be a direction to the Deputy Commissioner of Excise, Medchal, to dispose of the appeal, along with stay application, filed by the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible. Till orders are passed either on the stay application or appeal, the impugned order 06.04.2017 stands suspended.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
