THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE K.SURENDER CRIMINAL PETITION No.8798 of 2023 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 r/w 440(2) of Cr.P.C. by petitioner/accused seeking to relax the condition of surety amount that was imposed by the learned Special Judge for Economics Offences, Hyderabad in Crl.M.P.No.1804 of 2023 in HQPOR No.161 of 2023.

The learned Judge on 05.09.2023 while granting the relief of bail directed the petitioner to furnish a personal bond for Rs.2,00,000/- (Two lakhs) together with two sureties by way of FDR each for a like sum.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he has no capacity to furnish the said surety and he is languishing in jail though the bail was granted.

Keeping in view the above circumstances, the condition of furnishing the surety of Rs.2,00,000/- is reduced to Rs.50,000/-. 5.

Accordingly, the criminal petition is disposed of.

Miscellaneous applications, if any pending in this criminal petition, shall stand closed.
