HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 31554 of 2017 ORDER:

1) The present writ petition came to be filed with the following prayer:

" issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondents in not considering the representation dated 13.02.2017 made by the petitioners to stop the illegal encroachments and to take further action against the encroachers as arbitrary and illegal; and consequently to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 13.02.2017."

2) The grievance of the petitioner is that though he made a representation on 13.02.2017, but till today the authorities have not taken any action.

3) Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the authorities to act on the representation made by the petitioner for the welfare of the village, as early as possible.

4) There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
