THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI Writ Petition No.6150 of 2009 ORDER:

The learned counsel for the writ petitioner submits that despite addressing several letters by him, the writ petitioner did not respond and that, therefore, he had finally addressed a letter under registered post with acknowledgment card and that despite service of the said notice, the writ petitioner did not respond. He, therefore, seeks permission to withdraw his vakalat. He had undertaken to file the copy of the letter with the postal acknowledgement with a memo before the Registry. The learned Standing Counsel for GVMC is present. Since the learned counsel had issued a notice by 'Registered Post with Acknowledgment Card' before reporting no instructions in the matter and withdrawing the vakalat and as the said registered letter was served on the writ petitioner, this Court is of the well considered view that no further notice need be issued to the writ petitioner.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed for default. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
