THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE T.VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO.24580 OF 2019 ORDER:

The present Writ Petition is filed to declare the action of the official respondents in not completing the investigation in Crime No.466 of 2019 of Kukatpally Police Station, Cyberabad, dated 01.08.2019, as illegal and arbitrary and to direct the authorities to complete the investigation and file charge sheet as expeditiously as possible.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader, on written instructions dated 14.11.2019, would submit that based on the complaint made by the petitioner, a case was registered in Crime No.466 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 498-A, 406 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act of Kukatpally Police Station on 01.08.2019. Upon registering the above crime, the authorities took up investigation and examined L.Ws.1 to 5 and their statements were recorded. Further, notice under Section 41-A of the Code of Criminal Procedure was served to the accused on 07.11.2019. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would further submit that investigation in this case is completed and charge sheet is being filed.

Recording the above said submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, as the authorities have already completed investigation in the matter and charge sheet is being

filed before the Court concerned, no further orders are required in the matter.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
