HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.6385 OF 2009 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the order dated 18.02.2009, passed by the 2nd respondent-Revenue Divisional Officer. Heard Smt P.R.V.Kadambari, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue (A.P). One of the contentions of the petitioner is that there was no notification issued calling for applications for appointment of fair price shop dealers. This issue was considered by this Court while disposing of the W.P.M.P.No.1222 of 2009 on 29.04.2009. After perusing the record, this Court had recorded that a notification was issued on 28.08.2008, 18 applications were received and out of 18 applications, 14 candidates were appeared for interview and thereafter the 2nd respondent came to be appointed as a fair price shop dealer. Thereafter, the interim order granted in favour of the petitioner was vacated on 28.4.2009 and there are no changes in the circumstances from 29.04.2009.

In that view of the matter, nothing survives in the writ petition and accordingly, the same is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
