HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.13964 of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioners/A.1 to A5 and A7 to A12 seek to quash the proceedings in C.C No. 160 of 2012 on the file of Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Jangaon, Warangal District, registered for the offences under Sections 143, 120(b), 153 (a), 504, 506 read with Section 149 IPC and Section 7 of Criminal Law Amendment Act.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 17.4.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Palakurthy Police Station, Warangal District and submitted that the case has been compromised at Lok Adalat on 28.11.2014 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C No. 160 of 2012 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
