THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION Nos.26183 of 2014; 35242, 41333, 43663 of 2016; 30581, 30720, 30804, 31314, 31324, 32153, 32158, 33405, 34008 & 36076 of 2017 COMMON ORDER:

All these writ petitions are being disposed of by way of this common order as the issue raised in these writ petitions is one and the same.

When these matter are taken up for hearing, counsel appearing for the petitioners had contended that the petitioners are Educational Institutions and they have admitted some of the students from outside the State, but the respondents were not ratifying the admissions of such students. Counsel further submitted that this Court passed interim orders in these writ petitions and, in pursuance thereof, the students admitted from outside the State have successfully completed their Course and they have also passed out. Counsel also submitted that the question of law whether the students admitted from outside the State are entitled for ratification of their admissions or not, can be adjudicated in an appropriate case, and as of now, the cause in these writ petitions does not survive, as the admissions of the students, who were admitted from outside the State, were ratified and they have successfully completed their Course, and thus, no further orders are required to be passed.

Having considered the above submissions, this Court is of the view that the cause in these writ petitions does not survive in view of the interim orders passed by this Court.

Accordingly, these writ petitions are closed. However, the question of law, whether the students admitted from outside the State are entitled for ratification of their admissions or not, is left open, and if the Course which those students are pursuing is not completed, then they may be permitted to complete their Course, by duly ratifying their admissions in terms of the interim orders granted by this Court. No order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ______________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 08-02-2021 v v
