Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that as the 5th respondent was not appointed as Vice-Chancellor, some other individual was appointed as Vice-Chancellor in the 4th respondent-University, the cause in this writ petition does not survive for adjudication and hence, it has become infructuous. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to pursue his remedies, as available under law. No costs.
