Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Respondents.

Petitioner claims that her husband late Ramesh owns an extent of Ac.1-00 guntas in Sy.No.1387/9/1 and Ac.1-00 guntas in Sy.No.1390/7/1 total admeasuring Ac.2-00 guntas situated at Chilkur village shivar and mandal, Suryapet district. According to petitioner, after the death of her husband on 3.7.2018, she applied for mutation of her name in the revenue records through TSTS Ltd., and TSTS issued receipt dated 26.9.2019 in that regard. Copy of receipt issued by TSTS acknowledging filing of application for mutation is enclosed to the writ petition as material paper. Alleging inaction on the part of respondents, this writ petition is filed.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the 4th respondent-Tahsildar to process the application filed by the petitioner on 20.8.2019 for mutation of her name in revenue records in accordance with the provisions of Telangana State Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 and the Rules made thereunder and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner.
