Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development (Telangana) for first respondent and learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos.2 and 3.

The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition, as averred in the writ affidavit, is that the officials of respondent Nos.2 and 3 - Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation are threatening him to demolish part of his house without recourse to the law. 3.

It is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos.2 and 3 that if the private property of the petitioner is required for the public purpose, the procedure in accordance with law will be adhered to by respondent Nos.2 and 3.

The said statement is recorded and the writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents not to meddle with the private property of the petitioner herein bearing H.No.9-2-72/32/8/1A, Hasmathpet, Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad, except in accordance with law. It is made clear that it is open for the respondents to acquire the private property of the petitioner, if the same is required for any public purpose, as per law.
