PC: (per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioners, in the instant public interest litigation (PIL), make the following prayer:

"For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of MANDAMUS declaring the inaction of respondents in not taking any action pursuant to the representation dated 22-11-2014 and taking steps to establish slaughter house in Sadasivpet Municipality, Medak District as arbitrary, illegal and in violation of Article 21 of Constitution of India, sections 167, 271, 273 and 274 of A.P Municipalities Act 1965 in the interest of justice and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration appearing for the State of Telangana placed on record a letter dated 27-07-2015 written by District Collector, Medak at Sanga Reddy stating that the Tahsildar has identified two acres of vacant government land in Sy.No.260 for establishment of slaughter house in Sadasivpet Town. He submits that the concerned authority shall take steps for establishment of slaughter house expeditiously. His statement is recorded and accepted. Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the submissions made on behalf of learned Government Pleader.

In view thereof, nothing further survives in the PIL. PIL is disposed of as infructuous.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, also stand disposed of. _________________________ DILIP B. BHOSALE, ACJ
