Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents 1 to 4. With consent of the counsel appearing for both sides, the present writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. 2.

Since this Court is not going into the merits of the case, it may not be necessary to put respondents 5 to 7 on notice. 3.

The present writ petition came to be filed with the following prayer:

"to issue an appropriate Writ or Order or Direction, more particularly one in nature of Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent No.3 to entertain the appeal, filed by Writ Petitioners Nos.1 to 4, aggrieved by the order passed by Respondent No.4 in file No.B/1795 of 2016 dated 17.09.2016 regularising the deeds dated 21.05.2010 and 08.03.2014 projecting the same as sale deeds, in favour of respondents Nos.5 to 7 and hear the both appeal." 4.

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer seeking a direction for disposal of the stay application filed along with the appeal, at the earliest. 5.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue, on instructions, states that he has no objection, provided the same is still pending.

Having regard to the submissions made, the present Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent - Revenue Divisional Officer, Mahabubnagar, to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioners on 21.10.2010 as early as possible preferably within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Since the petitioners have also filed an application seeking suspension of the order passed by the 4th respondent, the 3rd respondent shall dispose of the stay application within a period of one week or ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after hearing the petitioners and the aggrieved persons, if any, in accordance with law. Status quo as on today with regard to possession, entries in records and registration of sale deeds shall be maintained, for a period of two (02) weeks.
