Heard learned counsel for petitioner and the Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

Guntha Veeraiah-husband of writ petitioner died in Kuwait on 09.01.2014. Second Secretary of Embassy of India, Kuwait through communication dated 23.04.2018 informed the 2nd respondent on the compensation determined by Kuwait Government on the demise of Gunta Veeraiah and called upon for disbursement to the petitioner. The operative portion of the communication reads as follows :- " You are requested to deposit the said cheque in your official account and thereafter make necessary arrangements for disbursement to the lawful beneficiaries, after due verification. According to our records, the address of the legal heirs is as follows :

Mrs.Guntha Sujatha (wife), Mr.Guntha Charantej (son), Ms.Guntha Praveena (daughter) all R/ o.2/ 116A, Ramnagar, Rajampet Town & Mandal, Y.S.R.Kadapa District, Andhra Pradesh.

Kindly acknowledge receipt of cheque and send disbursement receipt in due course, as this is inevitably needed to meet audit requirements."

The petitioner complains inaction in paying the amount due to her in spite of furnishing all the proofs. On 26.06.2018, at request of respondents, the writ petition is directed to be listed today.

The 4th respondent places on record written instructions dated 26.06.2018.

The 4th respondent, it should be fairly stated, does not join issue on material particulars. However, to complete the procedural formality, he informs the Court that the petitioner if complies with a few requirements, the amount receivable by legal heir would be paid.

From the above, it is clear that respondents 2 to 4 are on the job and would disburse the compensation to petitioner. After taking note of the stand taken by 4th respondent, the writ petition is disposed of by this order.

(a) The petitioner is given one week time from today to submit documents called upon by the 4th respondent by enclosing a copy of this order.

(b) The documents if are already furnished, the proof of acknowledgement of receipt of documents alternatively may be given within one week as stipulated above.

(c) Respondents 3 and 4 are directed to complete the enquiry within one week thereafter and forward report to the 2nd respondent-District Collector.

(d) The 2nd respondent on receipt of report, takes all steps as are necessary for disbursement of compensation to the person entitled in this behalf.

(e) The 2nd respondent if has reason to believe that the petitioner needs to be given legal assistance to protect the amount now disbursed as compensation, the District Collector is free to receive the services of Legal Services Authority, Kadapa District.

(f) Respondents 2 to 4 are directed to complete the exercise as per the time stipulated by this order.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
