THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 24678 of 2019 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, petitioner's grievance is that the respondents are not processing her application for mutation of her name in the municipal records with respect to house bearing No.2-9-61/1, Uppal Old Village, Uppal Mandal, MedchalMalkajgiri District. The petitioner asserts that she acquired the subject property from one V. Nirmala, W/o late V. Mahesh, for valid sale consideration, through a registered sale deed dated 07.05.2018; that the said Nirmala is the daughter of Smt. T. Neelamma, who was the original owner of the subject property and that the vendor of the petitioner also settled the right in respect of the subject property with her sister, by name, Smt. Manjula, and obtained a release deed on 24.07.

2019, as such, there is no impediment for the respondents to mutate her name in the municipal records as she obtained the subject property through a registered sale deed. Learned Standing Counsel for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 2, on instructions, submits that on 18.09.

CKR, J W.P.No.24678 of 2019 certain documents, but, so far, the petitioner had not complied with the same, and as and when she submits the required documents, her application would be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the above and as the second respondent has acted upon the application of the petitioner and sought certain documents from her by way of letter dated 18.09.2019, subject to her submitting the same, the respondents shall process the application of the petitioner and pass necessary orders within a period of four (4) weeks thereafter, in accordance with law, and in the event of their not accepting her request, the same may be communicated to her so as to enable her to workout the remedies in accordance with law.

Subject to the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
