THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.1854 of 2014 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 2.
The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under:- "...to issue a writ, order or directions, more particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the failure of the Respondent No.2 in conducting fair, impartial, unbiased and expeditious investigation in respect of FIR.13/ACB/CDU-Hyd/2011, dated 13-4-2011 under Section 11, 12, 13 (1) (d) (i) (ii) & (iii) of the Prevention of Corruption Act 1988 (Act 49 of 1988) and Sections 406, 409, 420 of IPC read with 34 (b) IPC as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and violative of the petitioner fundamental rights guaranteed under Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and to direct the 2nd Respondent to constitute Special Investigation Team of competent officers to investigate the crime in FIR.13/ACB/CDU-Hyd/2011, dated 13-4-2011 registered by the 2nd Respondent and to monitor the same from time to time by issuing continuous mandamus to ensure fair, impartial, unbiased and expeditious investigation into the subject crime and to file the charge sheet in the same and to pass..."

During the course of hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner brought to the notice of this Court that pursuant to the registration of F.I.R.No.13/ACB/CDU-Hyd/2011, dated 13.04.2011, investigation was completed and charge sheet was also filed before
the concerned Court. Therefore, no further cause would survive in the writ petition.

Taking the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the opinion that no cause would survive in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
