The learned counsel for the petitioners addressed a letter dated 16.7.2018 to the Registry stating that the Municipal Council has taken up the subject issue and is pending and the Council called for details and remarks and adjourned to last week of July, 2018. While saying so, a request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioners for withdrawal of the writ petitions. Permission is accorded while placing the above on record. The writ petitions are accordingly dismissed as withdrawn. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
