HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 18752 of 2003 O R D E R:- When this matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that the petitioner attained the age of superannuation. The petitioner filed this writ petition challenging the award dated 5.12.2000 passed by the Industrial Tribunal, Godavarikhani, in I.D.No.175 of 1997, where no relief was granted to the petitioner. Originally the petitioner was removed from service on 17.8.1994. Challenging the same, he filed appeal and the appellate authority directed reinstatement of the petitioner while imposing minor punishments.

Challenging the said punishments, the petitioner filed the above I.D. Having regard to the circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the award impugned. However, the respondents can be directed to pay the service benefits of the petitioner for the services rendered by him, if not already paid, within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to pay the service benefits of the petitioner for the services rendered by him, if not already paid, within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to

costs. As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
