This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay compensation to the petitioner on account of acquisition of his plot bearing No.104, admeasuring 225 square yards or 188 square meters in Sy.No.261/1 & 2 situated at Laxminagar Colony of Ghatkesar Village and Mandal in Medchal Malkajgiri District. 2.
Heard both the counsel.

A perusal of the record reveals that on 28.05.2015, the Special Deputy Collector, i.e. the third respondent addressed a letter to the fourth respondent to enquire into the matter and submit the report. For one reason or other, the fourth respondent has not submitted his report till date. The only relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner is to direct the fourth respondent to submit his report as expeditiously as possible.

In view of the submissions made by both the counsel, the fourth respondent is hereby directed to submit his report basing on the letter dated 28.05.2015 issued by the third respondent as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.
With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
