In this writ petition petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction in granting pension even though, the option form for pension was accepted on 11.10.2010.

This writ petition is listed as covered by the judgment of this Court in W.P.No.33775 of 2014 & batch dated 09.11.2016. 4.

Petitioner in this writ petition was an employee of UCO bank. Earlier W.P.No.7541 of 2015 was taken up as covered matter. When the matter was taken up, it was noticed that petitioner therein sought for three prayers. However, petitioner has given up the prayer with reference to Travelling Allowance. 5.

It was stated on behalf of the petitioner as well as learned Standing counsel for UCO Bank, that with reference to grant of pension, the subject matter is covered by the decision of this Court in W.P.No.33775 of 2014 & batch. Infact a letter was filed by learned Standing counsel on behalf of the respondent-Bank, agreeing with the prayer with reference to grant of pension. 6.

In view of the same, this writ petition is also disposed of, in terms of the decision rendered by this Court in W.P.No.33775 of 2014 & batch and the respondent-Bank is directed to grant pension to the petitioner in terms of the said decision, within a

period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
