Husband of the petitioner was granted Fair Price Shop (FPS) dealership in Vemulapalli Village, Narsimhulapet Mandal, Warangal District. He died on 30.01.2011. After death of her husband, on a request made by petitioner, she was given temporary FPS dealership for three months or till a notification for appointment of FPS dealer is issued, whichever is earlier. Apparently, no further orders granting extension of petitioner's FPS dealership are made. On 01.11.2012, notification was issued for enlisting a person as FPS dealer to Vemulapalli Village and the vacancy is reserved to be filled up by BC-A category. By the time of death of petitioner's husband, there was no scheme which enables a family member of the deceased to continue as FPS dealer.

Therefore, not granting FPS dealership to the petitioner and resorting to undertake a new dealer by the respondent authorities cannot be faulted. Furthermore, no interim direction was granted by this Court stalling the proceedings pursuant to the notification dated 01.11.2012. Hence, the respondent authorities proceeded to grant FPS dealership to the third party and that person is not made as a party to the Writ Petition. 3.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
