ORDER

This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioners/A.1 & A.5, seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.72 of 2016 of Gadwal Town Police Station, Mahabubnagar District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 148, 324, 353 r/w.149 against them.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners/A.1 & A.5 and learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State.

3. As seen from the complaint, there are certain allegations against the petitioners. Truth or otherwise of the allegations made in the complaint can be ascertained by the investigating agency during the course of investigation. The investigation in the crime cannot be interdicted at this stage. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned proceedings. However, the police concerned are directed to proceed with the investigation by strictly following the procedure under Section 41-A of Cr.P.C.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
