THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.9348 OF 2010 ORDER:

By the order impugned in the Writ Petition, petitioner was placed under suspension on the ground that he was in custody for more than 48 years.

This Court, by interim order dated 26.04.2010 in W.P.M.P.No.12070 of 2010, suspended the order of suspension. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent informs the Court that pursuant to the interim order, the petitioner was reinstated into service. He also submits that no disciplinary action is taken against the petitioner. 4.

Having regard to the said submission, since the petitioner was already reinstated into service, no further orders are required to be passed in the Writ Petition. However, depending on the result of the criminal proceedings, which was the cause for detention of the petitioner, and consequential suspension from service, the regularisation of period of suspension or any other action shall be taken by the respondents.

Subject to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
