THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN CONTEMPT CASE NO.1348 OF 2013 ORDER:

The order of this Court in W.P.No.17961 of 2013 dated 02.07.2013 required the respondents not to dispossess the petitioners from the subject land except in accordance with law including under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Land Encroachment Act, 1905. The petitioners have filed this Contempt Case alleging violation of the aforesaid order.

A counter affidavit is filed by the respondent-contemnor stating that the petitioners' allegation that he, along with 50 others, made an attempt on 17.07.2013 to remove the fence is false; he had never made such an attempt; and the petitioners are still in possession of the subject land.

From the counter affidavit, it is evident that the order of this Court has not been violated.

The Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed.
