HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.24835 OF 2019 ORDER (ORAL) :

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking to declare the action of respondent No.2 - Station House Officer, Chaitanyapuri Police Station, Hyderabad, in interfering and threatening him to settle civil disputes with respondent No.3 in relation to Flat No.302, Third Floor, Sri Balaji Nivas, Plot No.46, Block No.5, Kothapet, Hyderabad, as being illegal, arbitrary and unjust.

2. Heard Sri A. Mahadev, learned counsel for the petitioner, and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 2, and perused the material on record.

3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home based on the written instructions dated 25.11.2019 (in W.P. No.24804 of 2019), a copy of which is placed before this Court, submits that pursuant to the complaint of one Cheedella Venkatesham, who is respondent No.3 in W.P. No.24804 of 2019, against petitioner Nos.1 and 3 viz., Thokala Srinivas Reddy and Narni Srinivas, therein, wherein also the petitioner herein is petitioner No.4, initially a case was registered against petitioner Nos.1 and 3 therein in Crime No.562 of 2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 406 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short 'IPC'), on the file of respondent No.2 on 27.09.2019. He submits that during the course of investigation, based on the evidence collected in the said case, Sections 120(B), 468 and

471 of IPC were also added and petitioner No.2 viz., Smt. T. Lavanya therein and the petitioner herein, who is petitioner No.4 in the said writ petition, were arrayed as accused No.2 and 5 respectively in the said case. He further submits that respondent No.2 neither threatened the petitioner to settle the civil disputes between himself and respondent No.3 herein nor interfered in their civil disputes at any point of time.

4. In view of the aforesaid submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home made on behalf of the official respondents, this Court is of the view that no further orders are required to be passed in the matter.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition stand closed.
