Heard learned counsel for the petitioners/A1 to A5 and also heard the learned public prosecutor, representing the 1st respondent - State, before ordering notice to 2nd respondent - defacto complainant.

While granting stay of arrest of the petitioners pending investigation of Crime No.68 of 2017 on the file of SHO, Hindupuri I Town Police Station and Crime No.40 of 2017 on the file of SHO, Hindupuri II Town Police Station, the Superintendent of Police, Ananthapur District is directed to entrust the investigation to one police officer of both crimes, however, it will not prevent to secure their presence for purpose of investigation as and when required. 3.

Accordingly and with the above directions, this Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in this case shall stand closed in consequence.
