HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.24804 OF 2019 ORDER (ORAL) :

This writ petition is filed by the petitioners seeking to declare the action of respondent No.2 - Station House Officer, Chaitanyapuri Police Station, Hyderabad, in interfering and threatening them to settle civil disputes with respondent No.3 in relation to Flat No.301, Third Floor, Sri Balaji Nivas, Plot No.46, Block No.5, Kothapet, Hyderabad, as being illegal, arbitrary and unjust.

2. Heard Sri A. Mahadev, learned counsel for the petitioners, and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 2, and perused the material on record.

3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home based on the written instructions dated 25.11.2019, a copy of which is placed before this Court, submits that pursuant to the complaint of respondent No.3 in this writ petition against petitioner Nos.1 and 3, a case was registered against them in Crime No.562 of 2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 406 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short 'IPC'), on the file of respondent No.2 on 27.09.2019. He submits that during the course of investigation, based on the evidence collected in the said case, Sections 120(B), 468 and 471 of IPC were also added and petitioner Nos.2 and 4 herein were arrayed as accused No.2 and 5 therein. He further submits that respondent No.2 neither threatened the petitioners to settle the civil

disputes between themselves and respondent No.3 herein nor interfered in their civil disputes at any point of time.

4. In view of the aforesaid submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home made on behalf of the official respondents, this Court is of the view that no further orders are required to be passed in the matter.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition stand closed.
