When this matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that this writ petition is dismissed for default against the 2nd respondent vide order dated 18.8.2010 and the petitioner has not taken steps to get the writ petition restored against the 2nd respondent. The petitioner filed this writ petition challenging the order passed by the Labour Court in I.D.No.105 of 1988, dated 30.7.2002 in favour of the 2nd respondent. In the absence of the 2nd respondent, this writ petition cannot be adjudicated on merits. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
