Heard Smt. B.Geeta, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Women Development and Child Welfare for the respondents 1 to 6.
2. The petitioner was appointed as Anganwadi Worker on 15-82002 at Bhogapuram-I Centre of Vizianagaram district and she is working under the control of the respondents 3 and 5. On 05-112011, her marriage was performed with one M.A.N.V. Prasada Raju of Butchirajupalem village, Visakhapatnam Urban, Visakhapatnam district. According to her, as per G.O.Ms.No.2, dated 07-01-2009, all non-local Anganwadi Workers shall be accommodated as and when the vacancy arises in the local area and shall be appointed in their local area. Therefore, the version of the petitioner is that since there is a vacancy at Butchirajupalem-I Centre, Visakhapatnam Urban, Visakhapatnam district, as per G.O.Ms.No.2, dated 07-01-2009, she has to be appointed in the said centre. She submitted a representation dated 02-9-2015 to the 5th respondent and the 5th respondent recommended her name for transfer to Butchirajupalem-I Centre, Visakhapatnam Urban, Visakhapatnam district and forwarded the representation to the respondents 3, 4 and 6 vide letter dated 039-2015.
3. Having regard to the aforementioned facts, the respondents are directed to consider the representation dated 02-9-2015 submitted by the petitioner to the 5th respondent whereunder she requested for transfer to
Butchirajupalem-I Centre, Visakhapatnam Urban, Visakhapatnam district in terms of G.O.Ms.No.2, dated 07-01-2009 and pass appropriate orders according to law. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No costs.
