THE HONOURABLE DR. JUSTICE D.NAGARJUN CRIMINAL PETITION No.1724 of 2015 O R D E R:

This Criminal Petition is filed seeking quashment of proceedings in C.C.No.446 of 2014 against the petitioner for the offences punishable under Section 23 of Pre-conception and Pre-natal Diagnostic Techniques Act, on the file of the II Additional Judicial I Class Magistrate, Mancherial. 2.

Sri. Upendar, learned counsel representing Sri. Vikas Joshi, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State are present. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the case was ended in acquittal.

In view of the above submission, since the very purpose of filing this Criminal Petition has already been defeated, no purpose would survive to proceed with this Criminal Petition and the same has become infructuous. 5.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

As a sequel, pending Miscellaneous Applications, if any, shall stand closed.
