THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.21742 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Fisheries for respondents. 2.

The petitioner is a cooperative society registered on 24.03.2003. It operates boats for quarrying sand and fishing purposes. While so, when the third respondent published a notification proposing to conduct elections to the District Fisheries Cooperative Society on 20.07.2015 by proceedings dated 30.06.2015, this Writ Petition was filed.

3.

The main grievance of the petitioner is that the elections cannot be conducted during ongoing Godavari Pushkarams, and for that purpose, it sent a representation to the Commissioner of Fisheries, Hyderabad. Now the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the elections are postponed.

4. In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in the present Writ Petition and the same is accordingly dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. _______________________________ A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO, J Date: 23.07.2015 TJMR
