HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT W.P. No.32149 OF_2013 ORDER:

The petitioner prays for the following relief: "to declare the inaction and dereliction of the statutory and legal duties on the part of the 4th respondent, as illegal, arbitrary and unsustainable and consequently issue an appropriate Writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus to complete the investigation, and file charge sheet in Crime No.100 of 2013, dated 6.8.2013 of the file of P.S Nawabpet, Ranga Reddy District by an independent agency like CBI or CID or the like any other independent investigation agency within 30 days.."

The respondent No.4 in Paragraph No.8 of the counter affidavit has stated that the charge sheet/ report would be filed at the earliest. Instead of keeping the writ petition, to meet the ends of justice and to conform to the requirements of law, the following order is passed:

The respondent No.4 is directed to complete the investigation and file report/ charge sheet within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
