THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION No.6625 OF 2018 ORDER:

This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.') to quash the proceedings in Crime No.65 of 2018 of Karepally Police Station, Khammam District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short 'I.P.C.'). It is represented by the learned Public Prosecutor for the State (TG) that the investigation was completed and filed charge sheet, therefore cause in the criminal petition does not survive. Hence, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous, however it is left open to challenge the charge sheet. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
