The present writ petition is filed questioning the action of the fifth respondent in not entertaining the complaint lodged by the petitioners on 10.10.2019 against respondents 6 to 9.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, submits that based on the complaint of the petitioners, dated 10.10.2019, a case was registered in FIR No.183 of 2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 294-B, 323, 506, 447 and 379 read with Section 34 of IPC and Sections 3(1)(r)(a) and 2(v)(a) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, on the file of Dhammapet Police Station, Kothagudem District, on 22.11.2019. A copy of the said FIR is placed on record.

In the light of the submissions made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader on behalf of respondents 1 to 5, since a case has now been registered pursuant to the complaint of the petitioners, the grievance of the petitioners stands redressed and therefore, this Court is of the opinion that nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present writ petition.
