Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents 1 to 3.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents 1 to 3 produced written instructions stating that they never called the petitioners to police station and also denied the allegations that the respondent-Police demanded amount from the petitioners and that the 1st petitioner was under observation on the suspicion that his brother is maintaining pick pocketers gang, to which the 1st petitioner is supporting his brother. Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of. It goes without saying that the respondent police shall not interfere with life and liberty of the petitioners, except in accordance with law. No order as to costs.
