THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.21618 of 2018 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise appearing for the respondents.

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that, though the Prohibition and Excise Superintendent, Narasaraopet-fourth respondent herein passed the impugned order, vide Rc.325/2017-19/A4, as long back as on 15.06.2018, pending enquiry, the enquiry is not yet completed despite lapse of considerable length of time. Eventually a request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioner to direct the fourth respondent herein to complete the enquiry, pursuant to the impugned order, dated 15.06.2018. It is further stated that the petitioner herein submitted explanation also.

On the other hand, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that enquiry will be completed within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Taking into consideration the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and that of the learned Government Pleader, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition, with a direction to the Prohibition & Excise Superintendent, Narasaraopet-fourth respondent herein to

complete the enquiry, within a period of two weeks from today, and pass final orders and, in the event of failure to adhere to the said time limit, petitioner herein shall be permitted to carry on the business.

Accordingly, Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
