CVNR,J & GSP,J C.C.No.2376 of 2016 ORDER: (Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This contempt case is filed alleging willful disobedience of judgment, dated 22.09.2016, in W.A.No.833 of 2016. 2.
During the hearings of this case, certain issues which cropped up have been addressed by way of interim orders passed by us. These issues mainly related to non-processing of salary bills sent by the petitioner management and also the report called for by the Special Commissioner of Collegiate Education - respondent No.1 herein, vide proceedings in Rc.No.108/Admn.III-1/2013-2, dated 27.02.2017, on the minority status of the petitioner. On 17.02.2017, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for College Education (AP) appearing for the respondents, while placing before us proceedings in Rc.No.108/Admn.III1/2013, dated 30.11.2016, issued by respondent No.
1 directing the Principal, KVR GDC for women, Kurnool, to pass salary bills until a decision is taken by the Principal Secretary, Minority Welfare Department (AP), has submitted that in pursuance of the said proceedings, bills forwarded by the petitioner management are being processed and that non-payment of salary bills so far was due to the budget constraints only. As regards proceedings, dated 27.02.2017, issued by respondent No1, the learned Assistant Government Pleader has placed before the Court proceedings in Rc.No.108/Admn.III-1/2013, dated 16.03.2017, of respondent No.1, wherein he has withdrawn the said proceedings, dated 27.02.2017, with the direction to the Regional Joint Director, Collegiate Education, Kadapa not to take any further action in the matter. 3.
In the light of the above corrective steps taken by respondent No.1, the cause in the contempt case does not survive for adjudication.
