Petitioners claim to be the residents of Adi Andhra Wada of Thumba Palyam, Banagarupalyam Mandal, Chittoor District. Petitioners claim that they are grand children of Potelaiah alias Siddaiah. Potelaiah alias Siddaiah had three sons. Petitioners claim to be the children of Sankariaiah. The land assigned to grand father on 7.11.1967 to an extent of Ac. 1.32 cents in S.No. 22/1 is being enjoyed by them all the time. While so, villagers taking advantage of their helplessness in poor economic condition are attempting to tress pass the schedule land and not allowing to pluck the mangoes and trying to take away the mangoes from the mango plants existing on the said land.

Petitioners contend that a complaint was made before the District Collector and the District Collector in turn made an endorsement requesting the Revenue Divisional Officer to solve the dispute in S.No. 22/1. A reading of the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, the complaint filed before the revenue authorities and the endorsement made by the District Collector disclose that there is property dispute between the petitioners and Krishnaiah, Karivardaiah, Muniraja and Govidaiah whose names are mentioned in the affidavit. If that is so, petitioners have to work out their remedies as available under law and revenue authorities cannot indulge and solve the disputes inter se between private parties. Therefore, direction as sought for cannot be granted in this Writ Petition.
