THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION NOS.6639 AND 6641 OF 2012 C O M M O N O R D E R The petitioners in these two cases assailed the show-cause notices issued to them by the authorities of the Mines and Geology Department, Guntur, proposing determination of their quarry leases in the light of the judgment and decree of the learned Principal District Munsif, Sattenapalli, in O.S.No.104 of 1988. While interim orders were passed by this Court interdicting the authorities

from passing final orders pursuant to the impugned show-cause notices, Sri Ganta Rama Rao, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners, states that explanations have already been submitted to the impugned show-cause notices by the petitioners in both the cases.

In that view of the matter, this Court sees no reason to stall the authorities from considering the explanations filed by the petitioners and passing appropriate reasoned orders thereon in accordance with law. It shall be open to the petitioners to take recourse to appropriate remedies as are available to them in law thereafter. It shall also be open to the petitioners to avail suitable remedies in accordance with law in the event they are aggrieved by the judgment and decree passed by the learned Principal District Munsif, Sattenapalli, in O.S.No.104 of 1988. The writ petitions are disposed of with the above directions. Interim orders shall stand vacated. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
