HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.14057 of 2017 ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed seeking the following relief: "....to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd respondent failing to communicate the cancellation of LOC as issued against the petitioner at the behest of the S.HO.O., WPS., CCS., DD., Hyderabad in Crime No.454 of 2012 by further communication vide C.No.4226/C3/IP/CID-T/2012-17 dated 0203-2017 for cancellation of LoC, Reference No.4226/C61/IP/CIUD/2021, dt:
08-11-2012 against the petitioner's British passport No.504026147 with date of issue 1502-2011 and date of expiry as dt:15-02-2021 as arbitrary, capricious, bad in law and violative of Article 20 of constitution of India with a consequential direction to the 2nd respondent to confirm about the steps taken against the petitioner herein pursuant to the communication of the Additional Director General of Police, CID., T.S. Hyderabad in C.No.4226/C3/IP/CIR-T/201217, dated:02-03-2017 by deleting/canceling the LoC against the petitioner and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deemed fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."
Sri K. Lakshman, learned Assistant Solicitor General, appearing for the respondent Nos.1 and 2 has placed on record the written instructions received from the Foreigners Regional Registration Officer dated 24.05.2017. It is clear from the written instructions that the Look out Notice raised against the petitioner was withdrawn, vide Ref.No.4226/C61/IP/CID/2012, dated 12.05.2014. Learned counsel for the petitioner also on verification submits that his client had failed to furnish the information as he was under impression the same was withdrawn only for limited purpose. Inasmuch as, the relief which the petitioner claims stands granted vide proceedings dated 12.05.2014. Recording the above submissions, the present Writ Petition is disposed of.
