Heard Mr.Mohd.Shanoor for petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue. The petitioner complains against inaction in disposing of the representations dated 07.11.2016, 23.07.2008, 17.09.2008, 22.12.2008 filed for entering the name of petitioner in revenue records for land covered by Sy.Nos.25, 26, 27 and 28, as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional.

The petitioner relies on the extracts of few Adangals which are of 30 years old and prays for restoration of petitioner's name for the subject land. Learned Assistant Government Pleader contends that if the petitioner is desirous, an entry is being made under A.P.Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971, separate procedure is provided for an application under the prescribed format is required to be made and the petitioner by referring to old entries cannot seek restoration of mutation of entries at this length of time. I have perused the representations, which admittedly do not refer to a provision of law to pray for a substantive relief of restoration of entries standing in

the name of petitioner. Firstly, the document relied on by the petitioner is 3 decades old and secondly, the petitioner, if desirous of incorporation of her name in revenue records in accordance with law, apply as provided by law and if inaction continues thereafter, the petitioner can move the Court under Article 226 of Constitution of India.

With the material on record, this Court is not convinced to issue direction to respondents to dispose of the representations referred to above. The petitioner is given liberty to file applications, in accordance with law before the authority having jurisdiction for grant of reliefs as are deemed fit.

With the above observation, writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
