HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.24889 OF 2019 ORDER (ORAL):

This Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner questioning the action of respondent No.6 - Station House Officer, Chaderghat Police Station, Hyderabad, in not registering the crime pursuant to his complaint dated 07.11.2019, as being illegal and arbitrary.

2. Heard Sri Lalitha Kamesh, learned counsel for the petitioner, and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 6, and perused the material on record.

3. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home based on the written instructions dated 12.11.2019, a copy of which is placed before this Court, would submit that pursuant to the complaint of the petitioner, an entry was made in the General Diary and after enquiry, a crime has been registered by respondent No.6 in Crime No.274 of 2019 for the offence punishable under Section 380 of Indian Penal Code, 1860, on 12.11.2019.

4. Since a crime has been registered based on the complaint of the petitioner, grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition does not survive and, as such, no further orders are required to be passed in the matter.

5. Therefore, recording the submission made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home made on behalf of respondent No.6, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition stand closed.
